The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) held the Academic Year Inauguration cum Flag Raising Ceremony on its Tai Po campus on 4 September, marking the commencement of the new academic year. 
 
Officiating at the event were EdUHK Deputy Council Chairman Dr Terence Chan Ho-wah, Treasurer Ms Imma Ling Kit-sum, President Professor John Lee Chi-Kin, Vice Presidents, Deans, and other senior management. They were joined by around 1,000 students and teachers from the University, EdUHK Jockey Club Primary School (JCPS), and EdUHK Early Childhood Learning Centre (ECLC).

The ceremony also witnessed the first collaboration between students from EdUHK, JCPS and ECLC. They raised the national, regional and university flags as a team, fostering a sense of unity and inclusivity within the EdUHK community.
