Dr Alfredo Bautista, Associate Head and Associate Professor at the Department of Early Childhood Education, The Education University of Hong Kong, has been appointed Editor-in-Chief of the Journal for the Study of Education and Development (JSED), published by Taylor & Francis.

JSED is an international, fully peer-reviewed academic journal centred on psychology of human development, learning, and education throughout the life span, with a JCR Impact Factor of 0.851. Founded in 1978 under the name of Infancia y Aprendizaje, JSED currently publishes empirical review methods and conceptual articles.

Dr Bautista joined JSED as Editorial Assistant in 2006 and became Associate Editor in 2013.
