Professor Lee stated, “It is important to disseminate the story of Hong Kong's education, and to help develop talents that can meet the future needs of the nation.”

He added that EdUHK aims to nurture teachers with both virtue and talent to support and advance Hong Kong's education, and contribute to the nation's goal of becoming an educational leader.

Professor Hon Priscilla Leung Mei-Fun stated that Hong Kong can serve as an international center in the national education development, nurturing the next generation with both international and national perspectives. She noted several challenges and opportunities that education will face in the future, such as the rise of artificial intelligence, which requires educators to reconsider the meaning of education. Professor Leung emphasized that schools have the duty to provide moral and values education, in addition to imparting knowledge. She recommended that teachers align with national development needs and leverage Hong Kong's educational strengths to develop unique school characteristics and contribute to the advancement of Hong Kong's education.

During a dialogue session moderated by Professor May Cheng May-Hung, Vice President (Academic) of EdUHK, both Professor Leung and Professor Lee encouraged students to enhance their understanding of the nation's history and culture. They stressed the importance of fostering a sense of national identity and social responsibility, urging students to adopt a resilient spirit, continually improve themselves, and strive for personal growth to contribute to the future of both the nation and Hong Kong.
