EdUHK Information Day for DSE students
The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) will hold an Information Day 2018 this Saturday (27 October) to provide prospective students with the latest information on its full-time undergraduate and other programmes.
The Information Day will take place from 9 am to 5 pm at EdUHK’s Tai Po campus and will feature 37 introductory sessions by academic departments, with academic staff and student ambassadors providing consultations and answering enquiries on admission requirements and campus life. Prospective students are encouraged to make good use of this opportunity to better understand the wide variety of academic programmes offered at EdUHK and the related career prospects. Graduates of EdUHK have a wide range of career choices and education advancement opportunities, and the University has invited graduates who are working in the education and other sectors to share their life at EdUHK, their experience in the working world, and their pursuit of further studies.
A wide array of interactive activities will be offered on campus, including a psychology carnival, guided tours, graduates’ experience sharing, and plenty of fun activities, such as badminton, floor curling, Chinese shuttlecock, pickleball, a painting demonstration, a parade and a jazz performance. There will also be an open house, featuring the STEM Laboratory, the Arthur Samy Language Learning Centre, the Mong Man Wai Library, the EdUHK Early Childhood Learning Centre, the Hong Kong Museum of Education and its “Early Learning in Hong Kong: Past and Present” exhibition, student hostels, the physical fitness room and more. Participating in the guided tours will give prospective students their first taste of EdUHK campus life.
Free shuttle coaches to the EdUHK Tai Po campus will depart from the University Railway Station Transport Interchange on Saturday from 8:40 am until 4 pm, every 5 to 15 minutes.
