EdUHK Confers Honorary Doctorates
You or your representatives are cordially invited to cover the Congregation of The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) this Friday (17 November). During the ceremony, the University will confer honorary doctorates on five distinguished individuals in recognition of their remarkable contributions to their fields in advancing education and social progress.
The five recipients are (in alphabetical order of surname):
- Professor Anthony Cheung Bing-leung, GBS, JP
- Dr Rita Fan-Hsu Lai-tai, GBM, GBS, JP
- Professor Andy Hargreaves
- Dr Thomas Leung Kwok-fai, BBS, JP
- Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh *
The Honorable Mrs Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-ngor, Chancellor of EdUHK and Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, will preside over the Congregation. Professor Stephen Cheung Yan-leung, EdUHK President, will address the ceremony. Other details are as follows:

*Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh cannot attend the Congregation in person. A presentation ceremony was held on 29 August 2017 in Thailand.
