Presidential Advisory Group Discusses Future Development of EdUHK

Professor Stephen Cheung Yan-leung, President of The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK), convened the 8th Presidential Advisory Group (PAG) on 20 January 2023 to review the progress of different projects and advise on the future strategic developments of the University. 

 

Professor Cheung briefed PAG on EdUHK’s recent developments in research, knowledge transfer, and social impact initiatives. He said the University would further enhance students’ language proficiency, deepen their understanding of the national development, and continue to nurture outstanding teachers in upholding professional conduct.

 

Members of PAG reaffirmed the University’s efforts in promoting cross-sector collaboration, especially in the production and dissemination of educational videos on Chinese culture, STEM and parental education for the general public. Recommendations were also made at the meeting on how to promote the resources locally and globally. 

 

The 8th PAG comprised 16 Members:

  7. Dr Maggie Koong May-kay, Chief Principal, Causeway Bay Victoria Kindergarten and Victoria (China) Education Group, and Co-Founder and Head of Academy, Victoria Shanghai Academy
  8. Dr Lam Tai-fai, Chairman of Lam Tai Fai Charitable Foundation and Supervisor of Lam Tai Fai College
  9. Ms Leona Lam Wai-ling, Founding Principal, Tai Po Old Market Public School (Plover Cove)
