Dr Ho Wing-kei, Associate Professor at the Department of Science and Environmental Studies, along with 50 other academics in Hong Kong, was recently awarded a place in the 2018 “Highly Cited Researchers” (HCR) list compiled by Clarivate Analytics (formerly known as the Intellectual Property and Science Business of Thomson Reuters).

A total of 40 students were conferred a Professional Certificate in Lifelong and Elderly Education today (17 December) at the 2017-18 graduation ceremony organised by the Elder Academy at The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK).

The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) has bestowed the prestigious title of Emeritus Professor (Education) on two distinguished senior academics in recognition of their sustained, significant and commendable contributions to the University.

Professor Sheung-Tak Cheng, Chair Professor of Psychology and Gerontology at the Department of Health and Physical Education, The Education University of Hong Kong, and a brain health expert focusing on dementia care, was invited to give a talk and participate in the prestigious World Dementia Council Summit on 5 December 2018.

In appreciation of kindergarten teachers’ exemplary performance, the 2018 Chief Executive’s Award for Teaching Excellence paid tribute to early childhood educators.
