EdUHK Signs MoU with Beijing International Bilingual Academy to Foster Collaboration
The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Beijing International Bilingual Academy on 27 November. Both institutions will engage in close collaboration in areas such as student internships, teacher trainings and exchanges, aiming to foster academic exchange and development between the partnership.
The signing ceremony was held on EdUHK Tai Po campus. EdUHK Vice President (Academic) Professor May Cheng May-hung and Beijing International Bilingual Academy Chief Director Dr Pang King-chee represented both institutions to sign the MoU. According to the MoU, the partnership will facilitate multiple initiatives, including internship and field experience arrangements for EdUHK students, as well as priority participation in selected professional training activities, conferences, and seminars.
At the signing ceremony, EdUHK Vice President (Academic) Professor May Cheng May-hung highlighted university's strong commitment to collaborating with counterparts in Mainland. She said, this MoU would bring new opportunities for educational advancement between the partnership. Students from both institutions will have the chance to learn and grow through mutual exchanges, leading to a better understanding and integration of their theoretical learning and practical experiences. Furthermore, professional exchanges among teachers will further deepen collaboration in the education sector between the two regions and improve educational quality.
Beijing International Bilingual Academy Chief Director Dr Pang King-chee remarked the partnership will provide students with richer learning experiences and enhance teachers' professional development.
The signing ceremony was also attended by EdUHK School Partnership and Field Experience Director Dr Kevin Kam Wai-keung, Associate Director Ms Mandy Au Yuen-yee; Beijing International Bilingual Academy Kindergarten Principal Ms Katleen Mentens and other guests.
