Mr Wong Kam-leung shared the significant achievements in education that our country has made over the past 75 years. Mr Ho Hon-kuen explained that learning Chinese history could help understanding the development of the country, as well as fostering a profound appreciation of Chinese culture. He added that through the study of Chinese history, students could strengthen their sense of national identity and patriotism.

President Professor John Lee Chi-Kin concluded that education is crucial for advancing innovation and nurturing talent. He said that Chinese history education helps students appreciate the remarkable journey of China, inspiring them to make more meaningful contributions to the country.

The “NPC and NCCPPCC Talk Series”, co-organised by the Office of the President and the School Partnership and Field Experience Office, is one of the events of the University’s 30th anniversary celebrations.
