Dr David WONG Yau-kar (黃友嘉博士), GBS, JP
Since 1 January 2021
Dr David Wong received a PhD in Economics at the University of Chicago in 1987. He previously served as an Economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia. Dr Wong has since worked in various industries including corporate finance, manufacturing and trading. He currently serves as a non-executive director at a number of listed and non-listed companies.
Dr Wong actively participates in various community services. He is presently Chairman of Education Commission, Chairman of the Panel of Advisors of the Land Sharing Pilot Scheme and Chairman of the Board of Governors of HKCT Institute of Higher Education. He previously served as Hong Kong Deputy to the 12th & 13th National People’s Congress and President of the Chinese Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong (2010-2011).
Dr Wong was conferred an Honorary Fellow by Lingnan University in 2012, the Vocational Training Council in 2013, Hong Kong Baptist University in 2018 and The Open University of Hong Kong (currently known as Hong Kong Metropolitan University) in 2020, respectively.
Dr Wong was appointed a Justice of the Peace (JP) in 2010 and was awarded a Bronze Bauhinia Star (BBS) and a Gold Bauhinia Star (GBS) in 2012 and 2017 respectively. (Last update: 2 November 2023)

Professor Terence CHAN Ho-wah (陳浩華教授)

Professor Terence Chan is the Chairman of Bay Area Capital Partners Limited, a Hong Kong SFC licensed asset management firm that focuses on private equity investment in the area of real estate & infrastructure asset, property & construction technology, clean energy, fintech, environmental, social and governance (ESG) enhancement and smart cities applications. Professor Chan serves as an independent non-executive director of three companies listed on the Main Board of The Hong Kong Stock Exchange, namely, Shanghai Industrial Urban Development Group Limited, CASH Financial Services Group Limited and Wang On Properties Limited. He has been an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Real Estate and Construction of The University of Hong Kong with main areas of research in cross-border real estate investment, asset securitisation, technology application and sustainable development.
Professor Chan not only holds a PhD in Economics and an MSc in Real Estate, but also possesses professional fellow membership in CPA Australia (FCPA) and Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS) as well as the professional designation of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
He is the Chairman of ESG & Sustainable Investment Committee of Hong Kong Independent Non-Executive Director Association, a Member of the Infrastructure Development Advisory Committee of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council and a Member of the Mainland Opportunities Committee of Financial Services Development Council. He is also a Member of the Chinese Association of Hong Kong & Macao Studies of the State Council and a Member of the Election Committee of the HKSAR Government.
Professor Chan actively participates in education and social service. He was a Council and Court Member of Hong Kong Baptist University. Ms Imma Ling is a Certified Public Accountant (Practising) and a retired assurance partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers. Mr CHOY Sai-hung (蔡世鴻先生), MH

Mr Choy Sai-hung is the Principal of C.C.C. Heep Woh Primary School (Cheung Sha Wan), as well as the Chairman of the Education Convergence, Brilliant Education Charity Center Limited, Aerospace Education School Network, and the Humanities Curriculum Group of the Education Bureau. Mr Choy has official roles as a Member of the STEAM Group, Science Curriculum Group of Primary Schools, Learning Resources and Support Services Group in the Education Bureau, Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority Board, and Hong Kong Public Libraries Management Committee. In addition to teaching Hong Kong Baptist University’s Aspiring Principals Programmes, Mr Choy serves as a mentor for the Education Bureau's Training Courses for School Managers. Dr Henry HO Kin-chung (何建宗博士)

Dr Henry Ho has ample experience in the work of think-tanks and policy research. He is currently the Founder and Chairman of One Country Two Systems Youth Forum, a local think-tank. He is also Member of Expert Group of the Chief Executive Policy Unit, Vice President of Hong Kong Professionals and Senior Executives Association, Member of Research and Development Committee of Hong Kong Examinations Authority, and Member of Kowloon City Fight Crime Committee. Previously he worked at the HKSAR Government as Political Assistant to Secretary for Development, full-time researcher and part-time member of former Central Policy Unit. He obtained Doctor of Laws at Peking University, under the supervision of Professor Rao Geping. His main research interests include: One Country Two Systems and Basic Law, Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Hong Kong governance and youth issues etc. In 2022, he was awarded Global Youth Leader by Yazhou Zhoukan.
His public service in the Mainland include: Member of Beijing CPPCC, Council Member of Chinese Association of Hong Kong and Macao Studies, Council Member of HK-Macao Basic Law Research of China Law Society, and Part Time Researcher of a number of Mainland universities. Mr Kwok Wing-keung is an experienced educator and has been a secondary school principal for over 20 years. He is currently the Principal of Law Ting Pong Secondary School. Mr Kwok has been active serving the education sector as well as the community. He is at present the Chairman of the Association of Secondary School Heads, Tai Po District, the Chairman of Tai Po District Youth Development and Civic Education Committee, a Member of the Education Commission, a Member of the Constitution and Basic Law Promotion Steering Committee and a Member of the Advisory Committee on Applied Physics of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
Mr Kwok has been a Member of the Task Force on Review of School Curriculum, a Member of the University Grant Committee, a Member of the Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority Council and its standing committees including a Member of School Examinations Board, Chairman of Grading Committee, Chairman of Language Proficiency Assessment for Teachers Main Committee and a Member of Basic Competency Assessment Main Committee, a Member of the Departmental Advisory Committee of Computing of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and the Advisory Committee on Information Engineering of The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Mr Armstrong Lee Hon-cheung is a seasoned management and HR consultant and Managing Director of Worldwide Consulting Group Company Limited.
Mr Lee is currently Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hong Kong Education City Limited, a Member of the 6th Election Committee of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, the Tai Po District Council, the Standing Committee on Language Education and Research, the Lump Sum Grant Steering Committee, the Committee on Professional Development of Teachers and Principals of the Government and the Human Capital Committee of the Financial Services Development Council.

Mrs Joanna Li is the Managing Partner of King and Company, Solicitors & Notaries. She is also a China-Appointed Attesting Officer. Throughout her career, Mrs Li has acquired ample experience and knowledge in the areas of commercial, dispute resolution, family disputes, regulatory and real estate. Outside of the legal sphere, Mrs Li has been a devoted member of public offices. Currently, she is a Member of the Court of Hong Kong Metropolitan University and a Chairman of the Appeal Panel constituted under section 45 of the Buildings Ordinance (Cap. 123).

Mr Kennedy Liu is a Certified Public Accountant and holds an MBA degree from The University of Warwick, UK. He was a partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), where he served over 38 years, including 28 years as a partner. He was the leader of PwC’s Capital Markets Services in China (including mainland China and Hong Kong) and Asia-Pacific, and served on PwC China’s Management Board and Assurance Services Leadership Team and PwC Global’s Capital Markets Services Leadership Team.
Mr Liu is active in serving the community. At present, he is the Vice-Chairperson of the Hong Kong Council of Social Service, the Chairman of the Employees Compensation Assistance Fund Board of the Government of Hong Kong SAR, among others. Ms Winnie Ng is an outstanding businesswoman in Hong Kong. She holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago, and a Master of Public Administration from Harvard University, where she was a Mason Fellow. Ms Ng is a Director of Transport International Holdings Limited and The Kowloon Motor Bus Company (1933) Limited. She is also an Independent Non-executive Director of Century City International Holdings Limited, Paliburg Holdings Limited and Regal Hotels International Holdings Limited. Ms Ng has received much recognition and numerous awards, including the Outstanding Businesswomen Award in 2019, and was appointed Justice of the Peace in 2017. In previous years, she was named a Woman of Excellence, and won the Yazhou Zhoukan Young Chinese Entrepreneur Award.

Professor Eric Yeung is Co-founder & CEO of Skyzer VC Group and is active in the innovation and technology industry. He is also the Founding President of the Esports Association Hong Kong, China, the Founder and Honorary President of the Smart City Consortium, Executive Vice President of HK General Chamber of Small Medium Business, and Digital Economy Development Committee member.
With regard to youth development, Professor Yeung advocates the contribution by youth to society. He disseminates positive information to the public with a view to shaping a harmonious society with innovative technology. In 2010, Professor Yeung was selected as the 4th Young Leader of the Junior Chamber International Harbour.

Professor Ben YOUNG (楊立偉教授)

Professor Ben Young is Vice President (Student and Global Affairs) and Chair Professor of Steel Structures of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, overseeing the institutional policies and plans related to student development and promotion of culture, as well as the global engagement endeavours in educational initiatives involving the establishment of partnership with leading universities and strategic partners in overseas countries. He is an Advisory Member of the American Institute of Steel Construction for the Committee on Structural Stainless Steel.
He served as a Panel Member for the Research Assessment Exercise 2014 in the Built Environment Panel under the University Grants Committee, Hong Kong. Professor Young is currently a Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Constructional Steel Research, published by Elsevier. He has published over 700 international journal and conference papers, with over 390 of these publications being SCI indexed journal papers. He has an h-index of 70 in Scopus. Professor Young received the Shortridge Hardesty Award for his research contributions to the stability design of cold-formed steel and stainless steel structures given by the American Society of Civil Engineers in 2020.
