Dr FANGUY II, Michael Paul

Mik Fanguy’s research investigates the impact of instructional design and collaborative practices on English language learner achievement in technology-enhanced learning environments, with a particular focus on computer-supported collaboration in academic writing. He holds a PhD in Educational Research from Lancaster University, UK, and a master’s degree in TESOL from Southern Illinois University, US, with a research focus on second language writing.

 

Originally from the United States, Mik spent the last two decades at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, conducting research on educational technology and language learning, while teaching a variety of courses on these topics.
