The 2nd Brown Bag series
ELE's 2nd Brown Bag Series Ignites Collaboration Among Early-Career Researchers
🎓 On February 28, 2025, ELE hosted the 2nd Brown Bag Series in Solo, Indonesia, in collaboration with UNS (Universitas Sebelas Maret). This event provided a supportive space for early-career researchers to share their in-progress studies and receive constructive feedback from peers and professors.
👥 Participants included doctoral students from EdUHK—Ms. Winsy Wan Yee Lai, Ms. Liu Xian, and Ms. Pan Xinwei—as well as scholars from Shanghai International Studies University, Universitas Negeri Malang, and UNS. Each presented their research focus, key questions, methodologies, and next steps in concise 10-minute presentations, followed by collaborative discussions.
✨The series aimed to boost confidence, sharpen ideas, and ignite collaborations across disciplines. ELE continues to foster a research-oriented culture, providing academic support that extends beyond our community. This initiative aligns with the UN Sustainable Development Goals 4 (Quality Education) and 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
