ELE's 5th International KT Forum Unites Global Educators for
AI-Powered Inclusive Learning
🌐📙 On February 27, 2025, ELE, in collaboration with UNS (Universitas Sebelas Maret) and TEFLIN, hosted the 5th International Knowledge Transfer (KT) Forum themed "Innovative Language Learning and Teaching: Social Impact for Inclusive Education." The event convened 465 participants from Indonesia, Japan, Malawi, Pakistan, and Somalia, both in-person and online.
🌐Prominent speakers gracing the forum included Dr. Ir. Ananto Kusuma Seta from Indonesia's Ministry of Education, Prof. Utami Widiati (TEFLIN President), Mr. Roland Leung of Datality Lab & moodie.ai, Dr. Nur Arifah Drajati from UNS, Ms. Rizky Kristianti, a dedicated teacher at SMA Negeri 1 Surakarta, and Dr. Ju Seong Lee from ELE, EdUHK. A standout moment was the leadership of three ELE doctoral students who served as AI trainers, empowering frontline teachers to integrate AI tools into curricula and assessments.🎓
👥 By assembling diverse stakeholders, the forum forged impactful partnerships, directly aligning with the UN Sustainable Development Goals 4 (Quality Education), 10 (Reduced Inequalities), and 17 (Partnerships).✨ELE continues to leverage quality research and caring pedagogy to serve communities in need, empowering early-career researchers to use their expertise for global benefit.
