Is the Coding Fair 2018 free of charge?
Primary School Groups and Public (aged 4-12) are welcome to register. Admission is free to all.

What is the opening hours of the Coding Fair 2018?
14-15 June (Thurs to Fri), from 9am ‒ 4pm, open to Primacy School Groups.
16-17 June (Sat to Sun), from 10am ‒ 5pm, open to Public.

Any age limit for the activities?
14-15 June (Thurs to Fri): Open to Primacy School students who must be led by teachers in groups;
16-17 June (Sat to Sun): Open to students aged 4-12 who must be accompanied by parent/ guardian.

For better learning outcome and safety reasons,
age or (and) height limit is set for particular activities. Details are as follows:
- Coding & STEM workshops: please refer to rundown for particular sessions.
- Bouncy castle & maze: Age 4-12, height below 1.2m

Is pre-registration needed for the activities?
Participants need to complete online registration and receive a registration confirmation email for joining Coding Fair. Participants need to pre-register for Coding Workshop, Parent Seminar (available on Sat & Sun only), and STEM Workshop. Successfully registered participants are welcome to join other activities on-site, on a first-come first-served basis, including Network School booths, STEM booths, Bouncy Castle & Maze, Model Car Library and Museum Tour.

You are recommended to listen to radio or television announcements on the weather, road and traffic conditions during event day.

If Tropical Cyclone Signal No.1 / No.3 / Yellow Rainstorm Warning Signal is in force, bouncy Castle and Maze will be suspended, while workshops and other activities remain open until further notice.

If Tropical Cyclone Signal No.8 (or above) or the Red/Black Rainstorm Signal is in force prior to opening hours, will Coding Fair be cancelled?

14 ‒ 15 June (Thurs ‒ Fri)

Pre-No. 8 Special Announcement, Typhoon Signal No.8 (or above) or Red/Black Rainstorm Warning Signal	Contingency
Is in force by 5:30am	All activities in the morning session (9:00am - 12:30pm) of that day will be cancelled.
Is cancelled before 9:30am	Bouncy Castle and Maze will be suspended until further notice; Other activities in the afternoon session of that day will resume from 12:30pm as scheduled in the programme.
Is still on hoisted by 9:30am	All activities on Coding Fair will be cancelled.

16 ‒ 17 June (Sat - Sun)

Pre-No. 8 Special Announcement, Typhoon Signal No.8 (or above) or Red/Black Rainstorm Warning Signal	Contingency
Is in force by 6:30am	All activities in the morning session (10:00am - 1:30pm) of that day will be cancelled.
Is cancelled before 10:30am	Bouncy Castle and Maze will be suspended until further notice; Other activities in the afternoon session of that day will resume from 1:30pm as scheduled in the programme.
Is still on hoisted by 10:30am	All activities on Coding Fair will be cancelled.

If Tropical Cyclone Signal No.8 (or above) or Red/Black Rainstorm Warning Signal is in force during opening hours, will Coding Fair be cancelled?
- If a Pre-No. 8 Special Announcement is issued during opening hours, all activities of Coding Fair will be cancelled and venue will be closed. Participants will be requested to leave the venue gradually.
- If Red/Black Rainstorm Warning Signal is announced during opening hours, all activities of Coding Fair will be cancelled but the venue will remain open for participants to stay for their own safety.
