About INS3035 Creativity in Action

This is a project-based advanced course of this minor study. Through doing independent creativity projects, this course enables participants to transfer what they learnt in previous arts and sciences courses to solve authentic problems in novel educational and real-life situations (including STEM-related problems). This course would introduce to participants the action theories of creativity (Sawyer, 2006). Participants not only apply creativity in solving problems, they would also further develop their creativity in/through action. Participants would construct their personal theory of creativity, through a theoretical framework of creativity for, in and on action. This course will consolidate the learning of the whole minor study, and ultimately facilitate participants to become a creative person, in general.
