This course aims at enhancing participants’ knowledge, skills and motivation for developing creativity-in-teaching. Some innovations in current education field (e.g. STEM and e-learning) will be introduced. Our discussions would go beyond regular teaching, participants will develop their own innovations through art-infusion, STEM-integration, use of IT aids, other cross-disciplinary fertilizations, and the application of creative thinking strategies. Ample opportunities will be provided for participants to explore teaching through case studies, thinking games, teaching design exercises, alternative experiential learning, guest talk, school visit or real-life try-out. This course will further help participants to develop a personal teaching theme/style through integrating their personal interests and strengths with teaching. By integrating creative teaching and teaching for creativity, this course will ultimately facilitate participants to become a creative teacher.
