Someone said, "Marriage is an exchange between men and women, is that after you are familiar with a person, then consider trade-off by signing the contract." Paul's Epistles in the New Testament are often cited in the Christian wedding. Paul taught the Corinthians in answering their debate on sex and marriage: (1) the equality of the couple in Christian marriage; (2) Sexual intimacy within marriage is indispensable; (3) The choice of celibacy and marriage are for the kingdom of God; (4) Sexual relationship must be willing and consensual for both; (5) There are difficulties and temptations in marriage, do not give up. Christian marriage emphasizes on sacrificial love. |
