Environmental Health is the branch of public health that protects against the effects of environmental hazards that can affect ecological balances, and environmental quality, leading to adverse human health. The CHEER conference series has offers a timely opportunity for knowledge exchange among medical professions, academics and policy makers all over the world to advance the knowledge for the protection of environment and human health and discussion of updated environmental and health issues in both education and research levels. It will deliberate state-of-the-art of human diseases caused by environmental pollution, ecological and human health risk assessments, advanced remediation technologies, environmental management strategies, environmental health education, and relevant political issues.

Local and overseas experts from different sectors, including academic researchers, industrial practitioners, green groups, and government departments, will be gathered to solicit scientific and technical inputs as well as political feedback, facilitating the development of a holistic strategy, which fits government needs and industry interests in environmental health issues in Hong Kong, Asia, Europe, and America. The information gathered in this conference will serve as valuable references for developing sustainable and effective solutions to the health problems associated with environmental issues. The specific objectives of the conference are to:
