Introduction                                    

The Centre for Childhood Research and Innovation comprises two units; Childhood Research and Professional Development and Support.  

The primary functions of the Centre include: 

• the provision of professional development services pertaining to the enhancement of programme quality of early childhood and primary education institutions in Hong Kong; and  

• the generation and integration of research that can support quality care and education and inform government policy. 

 

Vision and Mission

We aim to become the centre of excellence for childhood research and innovation in the Asia Pacific region. We are committed to conducting and disseminating research about childhood, and the provision of professional support services to early childhood and primary education institutions and the community.
