Diaries contain a multitude of possibilities, functioning as personal records that document daily events and the depths of thoughts and feelings. They provide a unique opportunity for us to communicate with our past selves.

In the exhibition "Dear Downtown Diary," we present the artistic creations inspired by Hong Kong and the city by 16 visual arts education students and master's students from the Department of Culture and Creative Arts of the Education University of Hong Kong. Through the lens of urban culture and human consciousness, they have transformed their observations, reflections, and emotions rooted in their cultural and life experiences into captivating works of art. This exhibition celebrates the young and dynamic voices that have emerged from the bustling streets of Hong Kong. Each displayed artwork showcases the unique perspectives of these talented individuals, offering a retrospective and culmination of their years as students. Through their artistic expressions, they invite viewers to embark on a journey of self-reflection and exploration of our local culture.
