The Practicum

Practicum is an integral part of the BA(SE) curriculum that bridges classroom learning and practical realities. FYFD Year3 students and SYE Year 4 students of the Programme are required to undertake a full-time block placement of 6-8 weeks, with at least 200 contact hours with the Practicum Agency. 

We welcome special schools and NGOs for people with special needs who are willing to offer planned and supervised work experiences to the Practicum Students. Suggested practicum opportunities may include, but are not limited to, responsible roles in the following:

• Special schools or NGOs development
• Development of individual education plans
• Public affairs, community relationship, and social responsibility
• General administration or teaching support
• Intervention or student activity planning, coordination, and execution
