Following the positive response to the Enriched Student Exchange Programme with Beijing Normal University, which had been operational for three years, the University sealed a special partnership agreement with Peking University, the leading university on the Mainland. Under the agreement, both universities will receive up to 20 students to study for one semester. As a pilot programme, the University planned to send nine students to Peking University in 2016-17.
Positive Career and Life Planning Education
In the University’s large-scale Survey of Core Competencies of Future Teachers conducted among some 1,000 principals two years ago, and as consistently re ected by the school sector and wider community, “positive personality” and “positive work attitude” topped the list of most sought-after attributes. In response to the ndings and demands from the community, Positive and Values Education (PAVE) courses were developed in one of the Breadth Course Strands of the General Education programme, to cultivate positive emotions and thinking, resilience and good interpersonal relationships among students. While taking PAVE courses was an option for current students, students from the 2016-17 cohort onwards will be required to take one of the PAVE courses offered by the University as a graduation prerequisite. It is envisaged that students having taken the courses will bene t personally in their intellectual thinking and self-re ection capacity, and be able to

本校發揮多元學科優勢，以提昇畢業生的競爭力。本 年度籌劃了三個由教資會資助的同期結業雙學位課 程 於 二 零 一 六 至 一 七 年 度 開 辦，計 為:創 意 藝 術 與 文 化榮譽文學士及音樂教育榮譽學士課程、創意藝術與 文化榮譽文學士及視覺藝術教育榮譽學士課程，以及 語文研究榮譽文學士及英文教育榮譽學士課程。
本校與北京師範大學合作的「特選交換課程計劃」， 推行至今已有三年，反應良佳。此外，本校與國內首屈 一 指 的 北 京 大 學( 北 大 )簽 訂 特 別 夥 伴 協 議，雙 方 可 互派二十名學生到對方大學修讀為期一個學期的學 分課程。計劃於二零一六至一七年度試行，本校將會 派出九名學生赴北大就讀。
正向、事業及生涯規劃教育
本校兩年前曾就「未來教師之核心能力」作過一項大 型 調 查 ， 訪 問 了 約 一 千 名 校 長 。 結 果 顯 示 ，「 正 面 人 格 」及「 積 極 工 作 態 度 」均 列 為 最 重 要 的 能 力 之 一， 與學界及社會各界人士的觀點一致。為回應調查所得 及社會所需，本校在通識教育課程的拓寬科目範疇推 出 「 正 向 與 價 值 教 育 」， 協 助 學 生 培 養 正 向 情 緒 及 思 維、抗 逆 能 力、以 及 良 好 人 際 關 係。目 前 已 在 學 的 學 生可選修此類科目，惟二零一六至一七年度開始，所 有新生必須修畢其中一個相關科目方能畢業。本校期 望 ，「 正 向 與 價 值 教 育 」 能 夠 提 昇 學 生 的 思 考 及 自 省 能力，並於日後工作的學校與機構傳播正向價值觀。
本校學生作為未來教師，將來可能需要肩負學生事業 及 生 涯 規 劃 教 育 的 職 責。為 此，本 校 於 二 零 一 六 年 一 月 推 出「 肯 定 」夥 伴 計 劃，與 中 學 及 工 商 業 界 攜 手 合
