1 wine bottle nozzle |

1 bottle (for interaction of vinegar and bicarbonate

Collecting carbon dioxide |
1.
|
Fill Bottle B up to the brim with water |
2.
|
Place a glass cover over the mouth of Bottle B |
3.
|
Invert Bottle with glass cover into the basin
of water |
4.
|
Remove the glass cover |
5.
|
Put 2-3 teaspoons of bicarbonate of soda into
Bottle X |
6.
|
Insert the free end of the rubber tube into Bottle
B |
7.
|
Pour some vinegar into Bottle X |
8.
|
Stopper Bottle X immediately with the wine bottle
nozzle |
9.
|
Slip a glass over the mouth of Bottle B when all
the water inside it has displaced |
10.
|
Remove Bottle B and stand it on the table |
11.
|
Remove glass cover and insert cork stopper with
temperature sensor 2 into Bottle B quickly |
|
|
The bottle containing
air |
Fill the bottle with water and then pour it out so as
to ensure taht the inside of the bottle is as wet as that of the
bottle containing carbon dioxide.
