1. 學堂 -
提供生物科技知識包括基因工程、農業生物科技、環境生物科技、健康與醫藥、燃料與化學品和飲食;
2. 實驗 -
提供一些與生物科技相關的實驗指引;
3. 本地研究和發展
- 透過網頁和光碟提供虛擬的參觀,包括香港生物科技研究所、中文大學辛世文教授、生物技術研究所和香港大學食品生物科技實驗室。並提供本地開發的生物科技產品資料;
4. 生物倫理
- 以互動的型式討論一些熱門的生物科技問題如基因食品與標籤問題、動物及人類複製;

Five biotechnology CD disks for each of the local secondary school;

One interactive homepage for the promotion of biotechnology education;
3.
One package of teaching resources for each of the local secondary
schools, in the form of worksheets, laboratory guides, related websites
and reference books;
4.
Two research papers to be published on referred journals, and
5.
One final report for the Board of QEF.
Contents
of CD-Rom & Homepage
1.
Classroom - provides biotechnology knowledge in the areas of genetic
engineering, agricultural biotechnology, environmental biotechnology,
health and medicine, fuels and chemicals, food and drink;
2.
Experiment - provides guideline of biotechnology related experiments;
3.
Local research and development - provides virtual visits through the
homepage and CD-Rom to the Hong Kong Institute of Biotechnology (HKIB),
Professor Samuel Sun (CUHK), Biotechnology research Institute (BRI)
and Food Biotechnology Laboratory (HKU). Also provides information
of the locally novel biotechnological products.
4.
Bioethics - with the use of an interactive mean to discuss some hot
issues of biotechnology, for example, the genetic modify food and
labeling, animal and human cloning, etc;
5.
News - provides updated biotechnology related news;
6.
Resources - includes the biotechnology related websites.
