1) TAXI
Taxi stands are located outside the Arrival Halls of both Terminals 1 and 2. Taxis are available at Taoyuan Airport 24 hours a day. They charge according to the meter and add a 50% surcharge to the metered total (highway tolls not included). A typical taxi fare from Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport to Taipei is approximately NT$1,100~1,500. It takes about one hour to get to Tamsui. Please see attached for getting directions to Taxi stand at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport.
2) MRT Take a bus (Kamalan Bus【1356B】; the bus departs every 30 mins from 0630 to 2030 every day; bus fare from Terminal 1 is NT$135 or Terminal 2 is NT$143) from Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport to the Yuan Shan Transport Plaza (30 mins;), located on the red line of the MRT. Then take the MRT to Tamsui Station (40 mins; the fare is NT$45 per ride per person); go across the road ahead and walk along Xuefu Road for around 7mins to arrive the hotel.
