Today (27 May) marks the formal establishment of The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK), following the publication of the Government Gazette on the HKIEd (Amendment) Ordinance 2016.
Witnessed by the University community, Mr Pang Yiu-kai, EdUHK Council Chairman and Professor Stephen Cheung Yan-leung, EdUHK President, unveiled the new EdUHK logo. This was followed by a celebration party, during which dummies of EdUHK’s staff and student cards, graduation certificates and Documentary Proof of Retitling were presented to staff, students and alumni representatives.
A new website (www.eduhk.hk) was also launched today to tie in with the birth of EdUHK. The existing logos and signs at over 200 sites across the campus will be replaced by the new logo in phases. Over 3,500 first-batch EdUHK graduates will receive their graduation certificates bearing the university logo at the Congregation on 18 and 19 November this year.
