EdUHK Named Caring Organisation

The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) was nominated by Hong Kong Children & Youth Services (HKCYS) and The Salvation Army Tai Po Integrated Service for Senior Citizens to receive the Award of Caring Organisation from The Hong Kong Council of Social Service, in recognition of its long-term commitment and concerted efforts to care for the community through partnerships with non-governmental organisations and service companies.

Dr Hung Keung Recognised for Digital Design

Dr Hung Keung, Associate Professor at the Department of Cultural and Creative Arts, The Education University of Hong Kong, was presented with an Excellence Award (Digital Media) at the Hong Kong Designers Association (HKDA) Global Design Awards 2018 for his non-commercial short film entitled Where to go? Where to come from? (ver. 2018).

The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) organised the International Postgraduate Roundtable and Research Forum cum Summer School (IPRRFSS) 2019 from 3 to 5 July 2019. Tackling Food Wastage with Innovation

A five-student team “Foodster” at The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) won the championship of the EdUHK-SCMP Innovative and Education Challenge held in June 2019. Its business plan beat the other four contestant teams and impressed the judges with a self-designed app which allows people to buy unsold food from shops at a lower price with an aim to tackle the food waste problem.

Carnival Promotes Special Educational Needs

The Centre for Special Educational Needs and Inclusive Education (CSENIE) at The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) organised the Support Unit for Special Education Needs (SuSEN) carnival cum public education conference at the TKO Study Centre on 25 May to share the achievements of the three-year Swire Group Charitable Trust donation project and its outcomes with the community.
