Dr Kong Wai Yu Stella
Dr Stella Kong joined the Institute in 1994 when it was first established. She has been working as a teacher educator for 17 years. She specialises in immersion teacher education and has sustantial experience working with English medium subject teachers in Hong Kong both on in-service courses on campus and within their school contexts. She has recently been working with teachers in Xian on content-based language teaching, of which immersion education is a variety. She has also been coordinating the BEd English major within the Institute since the first inception of the programme and has participated in its development since then.
