Invitation to “Educating 21st Century Teachers: A Finnish Approach to Teacher Education and Continuous Improvement of It”

One of the most important characteristics of Finnish education is continuous improvement of the education system. Prof Jari Lavonen from the University of Helsinki, Finland, will give a talk about current teacher education reform program in Finland, including successes and challenges of Finnish education, how these challenges are overcome through the national reform programs collaboratively and how professional teachers are educated in Finland and will be educated in future.
