Hong Kong Institute of Education situates adjacent country parks and sites of special scientific interest, and so possesses rich ecological resources.
Pretty butterflies hovering over colourful flowers is a common scene on the campus. The ecological guided tour, which lasts for about an hour, includes not only the introduction of common flora and fauna in the campus, but also the demonstration of aquaponics and organic farming, rendering you a weekend outing of leisure and intellectuality.
