Abstract
Observations of galaxies and galaxy clusters suggest the existence of dark matter. Many theoretical models propose that some unknown weakly interacting massive particles might be dark matter. However, no such particle has been discovered in experiments. Also, the nature of dark matter remains a fundamental problem in astrophysics and cosmology. This is now known as the ‘dark matter problem’. In this talk, I will briefly introduce some key features of the dark matter problem. Furthermore, I will present some of my recent research about dark matter annihilation, which is now a frontier research area in astrophysics and cosmology.
