We are delighted to share that the Centre for Religious and Spiritual Education (CRSE) at The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) has received the "Inclusion & Diversity Award - Education Sector" from the Dialogue in the Dark (Hong Kong) Foundation on 20 February 2025. This award reflects CRSE’s dedication to promoting empathy and social inclusion within our community.
As co-director of CRSE, Dr Jiang Da from the Department of Special Education and Counselling has been actively supporting the implementation of the "Caring, Appreciation, Respect and Empathy Scheme" (EdUHK CARES) to promote care, appreciation, respect, and empathy among in-service teachers, pre-service teachers, and primary school students. She also assisted in planning the GE course (GEK2032),developed by SEC under the EDUHK CARES to align the Education Bureau’s guidelines and cultivate students’ empathy. The course has incorporated Dialogue in the Dark for visiting to enhance their understanding of social inclusion.
