On 18 February 2025, Dr Chim Ho Yeung, Hastings from department of special education and counselling, was invited by EDB to share the insights with more than 300 Special Education Coordinator (SENCOs) in secondary schools about how to maintain effective collaboration with external organisations in the lens of the project leader of the Learning Support Team from the Jockey Club “Diversity at School” Project. The responses have been very positive. With various exemplifications, Hastings in the seminar shared with SENCOs a wide range of practical tips on how to partner with external organisations such as EDB, NGOs, Social Welfare Department, universities and outsourced services companies as well as external experts such as educational psychologists, physiotherapists, occupational and speech therapists.
