We are excited to share that Dr. Anna Kam Chi-shan, Associate Professor at the Department of Special Education and Counselling, and her research team have received multiple international awards for their Automatic Screening System for Mid-Cognitive Impairment and Dementia with Auditory Tasks, including the Grand Prize at the Canada International Invention Innovation Competition (iCAN 2024), Silver Medals at the 49th Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions, and the Silicon Valley International Invention Festival 2024.
These achievements highlight our commitment to healthcare research excellence and innovation. And we hope the system has the potential to serve as a community-wide initiative through collaboration with NGOs and government entities to embrace the enhancement of well-being in society.
Congrats, Dr. Anna Kam!
