We are delighted to announce that four of our esteemed colleagues at the department of Special Education and Counselling (SEC) have been honored with the Faculty of Education and Human Development "Top 10%" Teaching Award 2023/24. This award is a recognition of their exceptional teaching performance and accomplishments based on their high Mean Student Evaluation of Teaching (SET) scores from the previous academic year.
The Faculty Teaching Award, introduced in 2008-09, has been a driving force in encouraging our teaching staff to provide an optimal learning experience for students. It stands as a testament to the faculty’s commitment to inspiring and nurturing the future generation of community leaders. Each year, the SEC seeks feedback from students on the quality of the teaching they experienced, followed by existing SET instruments within the Education University of Hong Kong.
