A HK$0.4 million donation has been awarded to Dr Kean Poon by the Advance Medical and Children Education Foundation to conduct the “Good Shepherd Project”. Led by Dr Poon, this project aims to provide an evidence-based online training platform for potential tutors to equip them with knowledge, skills, and hands-on experience in catering for students with special educational needs (SENs). This project not only provides the train-the-trainer program for SEN tutors, but also provides individualized learning support to students with SENs.
The online training program will serve as an excellent platform in preparing our students for their career in the educational field.
