On 21 November 2024, a delegation of Year 4 students from the BSocSc(Psy) Programme led by Dr TONG Xiuhong, Ms TANG Hau Yu, and Mr XIE Jia Jie, visited the School of Psychology at South China Normal University for an enriching exchange visit. This event featured academic discussions and a tour of the laboratories, showcasing the latest research findings and practices in psychology, as well as a visit to the university's historical museum.
We were honored to have Professor He Xianyou, dean of the School of Psychology, provide an overview of South China Normal University and the School's development, highlighting key milestones and significant contributions to the field.
Students from both universities engaged in academic discussions, exchanging insights about their learning and research experiences, emphasizing their academic interests and specific research topics in psychology. The delegation then enjoyed an inspiring tour to visit the psychology laboratory and the University's history museum, further deepening the educational cooperation and cultural exchanges between the two institutions.
Our students also participated in the "Guangdong Province Youth Sleep and Mental Health Study Activity," where leading experts shared insights on their research, fostering knowledge exchange and meaningful dialogue.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the School of Psychology, at South China Normal University for hosting this wonderful event. The visit was a great opportunity for both universities to exchange ideas and explore potential areas of collaboration.
