Dr. Lawrence Ma, Lecturer I at the Department of Psychology, was invited to contribute to an on-going segment under the radio programme “MagaSenior (香江暖流)” on 21 October and 20 November 2024. Each three-to-five-minute segment would begin with a brief audio-drama illustrating a common inter/intrapersonal phenomenon (e.g., lining up for purchases and waiting for a bus that is long overdue), followed by Dr. Ma’s attempts to explain the said phenomenon with reference to certain psychological concept(s)/theories (e.g., informational conformity and sunk cost fallacy). The first (out of 13) episode of this weekly segment—i.e., entitled 《心理揭秘唔好停》and scheduled every Wednesday 10:45 a.m., on RTHK Radio 5—was aired on 6 November 2024.
