During the EdUHK’s Information Day on 14 October 2023 (Saturday), PS department has hosted a wide range of activities, which allows prospective students to explore the BSocSc(Psy) programme and gain valuable insights into the field of psychology.
Two informative programme talks tailored specifically for the BSocSc(Psy) programme have been delivered by the Programme Leader and the Admission Officer. Participants were provided with comprehensive information about the programme structure and course offering. These talks attracted an impressive total of approximately 250 attendees.
Another highlight of the event was the Psychology Carnival, which drew a crowd of 400 enthusiastic participants. The carnival featured a wide range of interactive booths, creating an immersive experience for attendees. Visitors had the opportunity to interact with faculty members and current students. The carnival successfully showcased the dynamic and multifaceted nature of the field of psychology, leaving participants with a deeper understanding of its applications in everyday life.
In addition to the programme talks and the carnival, participants also had the chance to join a guided tour of the Psychological and Behavioral Sciences Laboratory. This exclusive tour allowed approximately 30 individuals to explore the facilities and equipment used for research and practical training in the field. The participants gained insights into the various research areas and methodologies employed in the laboratory, further igniting their interest in the field of psychology.
