Prof. Yu attended the Academy Awards for the Gifted 2024, organized by the Hong Kong Academy for Gifted Education (HKAGE) on behalf of MIT. He and Dr Singh have organized a series of workshops for HKAGE students. One of the annual workshops provided opportunities for selected students from MIT’s MA(MP) and MSc(AI&EdTech) to gain actual teaching experience. These students demonstrated their planned STEM lessons to nearly a hundred gifted students.
