Top 10 Outstanding Tertiary Student of Hong Kong: Siu Chun Ping Cloof Shines in Zengcheng Study Tour
From May 30 to 31, 2024, the study tour to Zengcheng, Guangzhou for the "Top 10 Outstanding Tertiary Student of Hong Kong" was successfully held. This event, jointly organized by the Hong Kong Youth College Students Association, aimed to provide finalists of the "Top 10 Outstanding Tertiary Student of Hong Kong" with the opportunity to conduct field studies in the Greater Bay Area.
Siu Chun Ping (Cloof), a third-year student from the Information and Communication Technology (BEd-ICT) at The Education University of Hong Kong, emerged as one of the finalists for the "Top 10 Outstanding Tertiary Student of Hong Kong."
During the event, Cloof demonstrated his deep interest and keen insights across various industries. In the agricultural sector, he visited the Zengcheng Silky Rice Industrial Culture Exhibition Hall and the Zengcheng Nengji Farm, gaining a deep understanding of rural revitalization and the development of local agricultural products. During the visit, not only did he gain a new understanding of modern agriculture, but he also proposed several innovative suggestions, showcasing his forward-thinking approach to agricultural technology. Cloof stated that this agricultural tour provided him with a new perspective on modern agriculture and inspired his interest in agricultural technology innovation.
In the e-commerce sector, Cloof had the opportunity to visit the Guangzhou Huashang Vocational College Peach Blossom Island E-commerce Base and participate in comprehensive e-commerce training. Cloof stated that this e-commerce training allowed him to acquire many practical skills, further solidifying his confidence on the entrepreneurial path.
Cloof expressed that he gained a deeper understanding of Zengcheng as a fertile ground for entrepreneurship and expressed his potential development intentions there.
