The 48th International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva (Geneva Inventions)
The Education University of Hong Kong achieved remarkable success at the 48th International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva. A total of seven prizes are garnered from the Geneva Inventions, including one Gold Medal with Congratulations of the Jury, one Gold Medal, and five Bronze Medals.
For the principal investigators, I congratulate you on your successes. Furthermore, I would like to highlight Dr. Chris Tsang Yiu-fai’s invention on the rapid quantification of microplastics. His project has been awarded a Gold Medal with Congratulations of the Jury in the “Protection of the Environment - Energy” category, which is a prestigious recognition that less than 16% of projects received this award and is the first ever received by EdUHK inventions in Geneva Inventions.
The 48th International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva was held from April 26 to 30, 2023, in Switzerland with a record number of inventors, universities, institutes, and companies showcasing nearly 1,000 inventions from about 40 countries and regions. A total of 293 inventions from Hong Kong are participating in the show. The exhibition features the latest and most innovative inventions from around the world. It also provides a platform for inventors to showcase their creations and gain recognition for their innovative work.
Congratulations on your accomplishments. I wish you continued success in your academic and knowledge transfer.
