The activity will divide students into small groups. In which members will discuss and design a game-based lesson to teach a selected topic in the curriculum of General Studies. The activity will be consolidated by group presentation of the design. This lesson aims to help students connecting relevant content knowledge and pedagogical skills into their game design, through a hands-on and practical experience.

This class will provide an overview of common sports injuries that affect the lower limbs and provide strategies for preventing them. A mobile app called "Measurz" will be used in this class as a guide and to assist students in identifying the risk factors for lower limb sports injuries. In addition, the class will use another self-developed teaching application to instruct students on how to stretch and warm up appropriately to reduce the risk of injury.

This lecture focuses on some key grammatical concepts related to language teaching and learning (e.g. clause constituents). As an introductory course for first-year English majors, this course aims to develop students’ grammar knowledge with special focus on word classes, clause types and functions and the structure of phrases and simple sentences. An integrated perspective is adopted, drawing insights from both formalist and functional approaches to grammatical analysis. Pedagogical implications will also be discussed.

Music performance anxiety (MPA) is a prevalent and debilitating issue for musicians and music students, affecting performance quality, confidence, and well-being. This lesson examines MPA’s characteristics, provides a developmental model, and discusses treatment approaches, including the Alexander Technique - a somatic practice that promotes tension release, anxiety reduction, and postural improvement. By introducing mindfulness and body awareness, students will explore how to integrate the Technique into their daily music practice, leading to enhanced overall music performance.
