Topic: Elevating Pre-Service Teachers’ Innovative Teaching Pedagogy in General Studies Through Game-Based Learning

The activity will divide students into small groups. In which members will discuss and design a game-based lesson to teach a selected topic in the curriculum of General Studies. The activity will be consolidated by group presentation of the design. This lesson aims to help students connecting relevant content knowledge and pedagogical skills into their game design, through a hands-on and practical experience.

PES6254: Conditioning and Injury Prevention
Topic: Common Sports Injuries of the Lower Limb and its Preventions

This class will provide an overview of common sports injuries that affect the lower limbs and provide strategies for preventing them. A mobile app called "Measurz" will be used in this class as a guide and to assist students in identifying the risk factors for lower limb sports injuries. In addition, the class will use another self-developed teaching application to instruct students on how to stretch and warm up appropriately to reduce the risk of injury.
