Greetings from your course instructors Professor Allan Walker, Dr. Haiyan Qian. Welcome to the forthcoming course EDA6112 Leading Organizational Learning!
|
Learning organizations readily adapt and renew themselves in response to rapidly changing client, community, societal and environmental factors. This course examines how leaders can design and put into place the infrastructure (structures and cultures) necessary for their teams to function in support of their learning organization. This includes taking systems and strategic perspectives of organizational learning, establishing robust supports for individual and team professional learning, and utilizing knowledge management and the principles of organizational design to support an improvement orientation. This course runs from 20 July to 22 July of 2023. You are expected to complete the following: 1 pre-arrival task (and 1 non-graded task of teaching us something new); 1 group project during the course; and 1 individual paper after the course. Please take some time to scan through the assessment guidelines and core course readings to grasp an overall picture of the course.
