Welcome New Members to the Institute's Council

The Institute has great pleasure in welcoming MS BELLA LO SUNG-YI and MR LEE CHIEN as its new Council members effective 25 April and 28 April 2006 respectively.

Mr. Lee Chien is a private investor based in Hong Kong and a director of a number of prestigious companies, including Swire Pacific Limited and Hysan Development Company Limited. Mr. Lee has a Bachelor and two Master Degrees from Stanford University. He has served on Stanford University's Board of Trustees, the Board of its Alumni Association and Advisory Council of its Graduate School of Business. At present, he serves on the Advisory Board of its Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies. Mr. Lee is also a Member of various educational and public organisations, including the Council of St. Paul's Co-educational College and the Council of The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Mr. Lee has been Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Outward Bound Trust of Hong Kong for the last ten years and is currently Vice Chairman of Outward Bound International.
