A Sentimental Review

By Fung Man-ching, Joint Chairperson of the Organisation Committee for The 2nd Hong Kong School Principals' Conference 2006
All school principals of Hong Kong should take part in a Conference like this, at least once in their life time.

The Participation

THE 2ND HONG KONG SCHOOL PRINCIPALS' CONFERENCE was successfully held with all due ceremony at the HKIEd on 31 March 2006. As a member of the organising committee, I found the excitement and gratification derived from this Conference were beyond description. The Conference has also steeled my belief that the "spirit of continuous self-improvement" in the education sector of Hong Kong is always alive. One of the main reasons behind such a conclusion is the over-whelming attendance rate of the Conference - a record-breaking turn-out of over 1,000. It was a big surprise indeed that so many people decided to put aside their heavy workload and pressures for a day to join this nine-hour activity. The popularity of the Conference was incredible!
