Assistant Professor and Director of IB Education Center at Namseoul University, South Korea, Dr. Justin Zhang, was invited by Mr Wei Bian (course lecture of LVE 6012: Whole School Development and Leadership in Life and Values Education: Local and Global Contexts and Issues), to give a guest lecture titled “Leading with Head, Heart & Hand: Cultivating Adaptive Leadership Intelligence” on 17th February 2025.
A total of 31 MEd students joined this session. This online lecture weaved educational leadership theory, collaborative problem-solving, leadership scenarios, and reflective practices. The participants have analysed real-life scenarios, explored effective strategies, and developed approaches for managing change and conflict in school settings. Beyond theory, the participants also developed enhanced leadership capabilities that bridge their academic learning with practical leadership skills, preparing them for future educational leadership roles.
