课程简介

本课程【MSocSc(SCM)】是为计划从事与体育教练和管理相关工作的学生而设。作为硕士研究生课程，申请人必须具备体育相关科目的基本知识，或至少在一项运动上有出色的表现。
 

课程特色

本课程【MSocSc（SCM）】将为学生提供体育教练和管理方面的相关知识和实践经验，包含各种相关的范畴，例如体育科技、绩效分析、撰写计划书的基本技能，以及体育行业的趋势和发展、销售策略等。本课程毕业生将可从事针对不同对象（包括社会大众以至专业运动员）的教练或管理工作。本课程可提高学生从事教练和管理工作的能力，并成为相关的专业人员，以满足大众对运动日益关注的需求及改善市民健康。

课程目标

本课程的目标如下︰
  1. 促进对运动教练与管理的全面了解；
  2. 透过包括运动表现分析到运动产业营销策略在内的各种要素，提高教练指导和管理的能力；
  3. 培养运动教练和／或管理相关行业的领导才能。
在成功完成本课程后，学生将可以︰
  1. 展示出对运动产业相关的教练指导和管理能力的掌握和运用；
  2. 协同运用科学的及实证为基础的策略进行运动教练和管理；
  3. 培养在运动相关产业中规划并实施指导计划和／或政策的领导能力。

课程结构

入读本课程之学生需以一年全日制或两年兼读制修读合共24个学分之科目。

其中，学生必须完成3个核心科目（合共9个学分）。除核心科目外，学生还可选择5个选修科目（合共15个学分）或3个选修科目（9个学分）加上1份硕士论文（合共6个学分）。

课程科目

3个核心科目为学生提供与体育教练和管理相关的知识和技能。为加强学生在不同领域的知识，目前提供了8个选修科目，供学生选择完成课程。撰写硕士论文的学生，将在一名导师的指导下，完成体育教练和管理相关的研究论文。

教学语言

本课程以英语作为主要教学语言。
 

教学地点

大学或会安排同一学期或不同学期的课堂于平日日间/晚上、周末及/或长假期于大埔校园 / 将军澳教学中心 / 北角教学中心 / 九龙塘卫星教学中心及/或其他地点进行。

学费

本课程为自费课程。全期学费为港币159,840 元正 (2025年度)。所有已缴交的学费不设发还。

入学要求

  1. 申请人一般应持有认可的体育或相关学科学士学位;　或
    本地/地区/国家级精英运动员持有认可学士学位或其他同等学历;　和

  2. 申请人需持有以英语授课之学士学位或同等资格证明。如申请人拥有之学士学位并非以英语授课，则需符合下列其中一项要求(注1):
    • 雅思国际英语语言测试（IELTS）总分6.0；或
    • 中等教育普通证书（GCSE ）或普通教育文凭普通程度（GCE OL）英语等级C或以上; 或
    • 网上托福考试（TOEFL）总成绩80分；或
    • 近两年内有效之国家大学英语六级考试（CET-6）总分430或以上；或
    • 其他同等资历。

      IELTS/TOEFL成绩有效期为2年，即从考试之日起2年内有效（申请2025/26入学者提交的IELTS/TOEFL成绩必须于2023年1月1日或之后应考）；
      只接受在官方指定考试中心应考的IELTS/TOEFL成绩 （即不接受线上应考的IELTS indicator/IELTS Online及TOEFL Home Editions等成绩）。
      注1 : 不符合大学英语语言要求的地区/国家精英运动员可基于个人资历择优录取，但获录取者必须在修读期间额外完成大学语言教育中心（CLE）提供的英语强化课程（相关费用自理），以符合毕业要求。

  3. 合资格申请者可能需要参加面试。

Andy’s primary research interest lies on the motor learning and impact of physical activity on psychological, cognitive and physical well-being in children with autism spectrum disorder.  He is also interested in motor development and the effect of free-play on overall quality of life in typically developing children. He recently initiates a new research project on the investigation of free-play participation among school-aged children. His research goal is to propose a lighthouse parenting strategy as a reasonable approach to build success among children.
