His main research areas include Classical Chinese, history of Chinese language and the Buddhist Chinese. He was a Professor at the Department of Chinese Language and Literature, both in Sichuan University and Peking University, and also the Founding Dean of Yuanpei College, Peking University. He also served as a member and Vice Chair of the Consultancy Committee for Tertiary Institutes' Chinese Language and Literature Education, Ministry of Education, Mainland China (2001-2012), an executive member of the International Association of Chinese Linguistics (2005-2007) and an executive member of the Chinese Linguistics Society (2000-present). Currently, he serves as the Adjunct Professor in several domestic universities, and is a member of the editorial boards of some academic journals. Professor Zhu has published about a hundred of works and refereed papers. He has developed "A Database of Chinese Buddhist translation and their Sanskrit parallels for the Buddhist Chinese Studies". He is currently the principal investigator of the GRF research project "On the motivations of some important changes of pronouns in the history of Chinese language". He is also an invited author of "Brill’s Encyclopedia of Chinese Language and Linguistics" and "Brill's Encyclopedia of Buddhism". 朱慶之教授是知名的漢語語言學家，主要研究領域包括古代漢語，漢語史 及佛教漢語。他曾擔任四川大學中文系和北京大學中文系教授，為北京 大學元培學院創始院長；還擔任過國家教育部中文教學指導委員會委員 和副主任（2001-2012）、國際中國語言學會理事（2005-2007）及中國語 言學會理事（2000至今）。目前是國內多所大學的客座或兼職教授，並 任職多份學術期刊的編輯委員會。 朱教授迄今共發表學術著作和論文約百種，開發了“漢譯佛經梵漢對比 分析語料庫”，目前承擔研究資助局優配研究基金項目“漢語代詞在歷史 上幾個重要變化之動因研究”。他亦是“Brill’s Encyclopedia of Chinese Language and Linguistics”和“Brill’s Encyclopedia of Buddhism”兩部 百科全書的特約詞條撰稿人。 11 | Distinguished Scholars 傑出學者
