The Minor in General Psychology is designed to complement the knowledge students gain in their major discipline by investigating human behaviors, thoughts and feelings from psychological perspectives. It covers the basic psychology courses that provide fundamental knowledge in psychology. Students will gain an understanding on the major principles of modern psychology and how to apply psychological principles and theories to analyze human behaviors in real life situations. In addition, students will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to evaluate major psychological principles and theories related to real life issues and to evaluate research evidence by using scientific principles.
